Shabana a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master's of Science in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. Starting her clinical work with clients with a history of domestic violence and sexual trauma, to geriatric patients in rehab/nursing facilities, She has had the privilege of working with diverse clients of all ages and mental health diagnoses.
She believes each individual to be unique, having their own way of experiencing events in life. Her goal is to provide a warm and safe environment for her clients as they go through the process of self discovery and support their individuality and self efficacy. While utilizing clinically proven techniques, she has a collaborative and integrative approach with with my clients to bridge the gap from where they are towards where they would like to be. She strongly believes in empowering her clients through education and compassion to achieve an overall improved quality of life with emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well being.
