Mariyah Hussain, MD

Dr. Mariyah Hussain is a Board-Certified Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist and she has been a part of the Hamdard team since August of 2024. Dr. Hussain believes in evidence-based medicine, and she is confident about implementing that in her practice. She is a firm believer in seeing each person as a unique individual and considers the holistic approach when working with them, keeping their biopsychosocial factors in mind and observing how that impacts their presentation. “I find my work extremely rewarding and impactful for the community at large. I believe in working with mental health professionals, who truly value mental health, serve as advocates for it, and will help enhance my career in doing so further.” Dr. Hussain is now available for in-person medication management appointments at our Addison location as well as telehealth appointments for individuals age 5 and above.
