Mahal Stevens, LSW

Mahal is a Licensed Social Worker who has been a part of the Hamdard team since January of 2024. She enjoys working with children and adolescents. Mahal particularly enjoys working with individuals dealing with the following topics: ADHD, school avoidance, LGBTQIA, and trauma. Mahal prefers to utilize play therapy and mindfulness as interventions with her patients. “I chose to become a therapist/social worker after seeing how impactful and crucial social workers can be, especially as advocates for their clients. I wanted a profession I found compelling and the work at Hamdard is personally compelling.” Mahal is currently available for in-person therapy appointments at our Roger’s Park location as well as telehealth appointments for individuals ages 5 and above.
