Damaso Hodges MA, MSW, LCSW, CCTP, CDCS
Damaso is the Behavioral Health Director at Hamdard Health Alliance and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years experience providing mental health and social services to individuals, groups, and families throughout Illinois and Ohio. Damaso has worked with individuals of all ages; from birth to three year olds with developmental delays to the geriatric population. He has also worked with a wide range of individuals, including those struggling with addictions to individuals living with chronic and severe mental illness. Damaso has extensive experience developing inpatient and outpatient programming for behavioral health hospitals and providing administrative and clinical supervision to teams of social workers in inpatient/outpatient mental health settings, crisis services, skilled nursing, and residential facilities.
In addition to his work with Hamdard Health Alliance, Damaso is an educator who teaches college level coursework in the social and behavioral sciences. Damaso has an eclectic approach to the therapeutic relationship that is holistic, strengths-based, and client-centered. Damaso values the therapeutic relationship and encourages the individual to guide the therapeutic process.
